Frequently asked questions
What businesses can join SmartDash?
Restaurants, food businesses, convenience stores and other approved local retailers can apply when their products, location and operating documents meet SmartDash requirements.
What information is needed for onboarding?
Download Order Manage, create your account and verify your email. Follow the Ghana Card PIN and live face verification steps for the owner or authorised representative, then provide business registration details, applicable operating permits, your verified store location and GhanaPostGPS address, opening hours, payout details, store images and menu. Your application is reviewed before approval.
How do store opening hours work?
Your store opens and closes automatically from the weekly operating hours saved in Order Manage. Account and compliance restrictions can still keep the storefront unavailable.
Can a merchant decline an incoming order?
Incoming customer orders are accepted through Order Manage. The order alert repeats until the store accepts it, helping the team respond quickly and begin preparation.
Can I manage menus, prices and discounts?
Yes. Approved merchants can manage menu categories, items, options, prices, availability and eligible discounts from Order Manage.
What reports are available?
The account area shows income activity and item performance. Weekly reports summarise completed orders, quantities, sales and discounts for the store owner.
What happens when an order is cancelled?
The cancelled order appears with completed orders. If the order qualifies for merchant cancellation compensation, the credited amount is shown and included in eligible income.
